Trou aux Biches Beach

  • 4.8.2023

White sand and turquoise color of the ocean = Trou aux Biches beach. But also good conditions for snorkeling, picturesque sunsets, luxury hotels and swimming with turtles. You will find all of this and much more on this beach. Let's introduce it in more detail.

Let's start with a small disadvantage - a large part of the beach is occupied by hotel sunbeds. However, it does not mean that you cannot go to this section. You are not allowed to use the sunbeds or sit on the hotel grass (the hotel security will notify you immediately).

The public part is located at the very south of the beach and is quite small. But you will find plenty of shade trees, a water sports center, refreshment stands, bars and even toilets and showers. The hotel beach, although, will offer the typical photos from paradise, mainly thanks to the palm trees. We also recommend walking the entire beach at sunset. It is absolutely beautiful.

Trou aux Biches is also famous for sea turtles, which every boat moored on the beach will take you to see. You can rent a pedalo, kayak or paddleboard and head out to explore the area on your own. Maybe you'll be lucky and come across the turtles yourself. And if not, you will still have a wonderful experience. In addition to turtles, people also go to the beach for snorkeling. Just be careful if you're swimming behind buoys, the boats go fast here.

The parking lot by the beach is quite small, so parking is a problem, especially on the weekend. Bus lines also run directly to the beach. However, if you use your car, you can leave it in one of the streets and stop for the best ice cream at Kristen's or lunch at the Souvenir restaurant, where you can find great food at good prices. If you like beach clubs, you can find one here too - the stylish Evaco Beach Club. We stopped here for a drink at sunset. The environment is really cosy, but the cocktails didn't really excite us, for us the quality didn't match the high price.
