Our first flying holiday as a foursome was purposely to Gran Canaria. We wanted a destination with a pleasant climate, opportunities for swimming and hiking, and not a very long flight. Gran Canaria met all these conditions and we spent an amazing 3 weeks here.
If you are looking for a really family friendly country, then Austria will certainly not disappoint you. In addition to the wonderful views for the parents, the children will enjoy a great playground at every corner. We adapted all activities to the stroller, since Anežka was only 3 months old.
Lily's first vacation was to the Triglav National Park when she was only 6 months old. Even with such a little child you can travel and go on shorter hikes. The week-long vacation in September was therefore tailored just for a small baby.
